God Whispers....

" My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me."

 John 10:27 (NLT)

It’s quite the opposite with God; God doesn't make an entrance and announce his plans for our life.  God whispers.  You must be close to him to hear him.  As humans we say it’s our intuition, we as women call in a woman's intuition; but not so with God.   God allows us to make choices, and most of the time we choose not to hear him.  We don't believe or even have the faith that God would trust us enough to give us that assignment.  But why not, whatever he assigns us he is able, wait more than that he has already put in us the ability to fulfill it.

Just last night my husband and I were talking about breakthroughs and the assignments God has in store for us.  He asked me what are the three most important things I wish to accomplish are possess in my life?  As I was naming them, we both agreed our number one priority was to have a closer relationship with God.   Then we both realize that what was most important to us was neither material nor tangible.  What we most desired were things that could only come from God.  My question is how we both got to that point where the finer things in life which we both once thought were houses and cars somehow are just not that important if there is no joy and peace.

The only way to obtain "Jesus" joy and peace is to seek after him.  If we have Jesus, we have enough; actually more than enough. If we trust him, he will clear the path and open the door.  Stop going through life wondering what's behind door number one, two or three.  God will open up a door that's design for you, a door that will neither have to be pushed nor forced open. Don't be afraid of the open door, you will be prepared for your journey, it is already within you.    Be close enough to hear his voice he will say to you "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes unto the Father except through me" John 14:6.

Stop it already, I know in that scripture Jesus is speaking to the disciples as he is preparing to go back to the Father.  So you ask how did we get from Gods plan for our life to Jesus going back to heaven. Well being crucified was his assignment, it was the door God assigned to Jesus, to return to him, and he walked through that door so we would never have to.  God gave him the strength to endure his journey.  All that he needed to go through his door and the assurance that he was waiting for him on the other side.  How comforting to know that we are equipped for the assignment and that God has his arms stretched out to us once we walk through our door.  God will lead us, holding our hands.

Stay faithful to what you are doing for God, stay close to him, and when it’s your season, you will hear his voice, calling you through the open door.  Remember when he speaks to you, don't try to get confirmation from others, God was talking to you.

  2. There are several science websites out there that can help students understand difficult topics, prepare for exams, and ultimately serve parents and teachers as a virtual teacher’s aid. The best part: many of the better ones are absolutely free.
Here’s a look at several popular websites that can get students hooked on science.
