It open the door to a new beginning,

A life not meant to be

Paths unnoticeably crossing

Unknown our destiny

As if a thief creeps in at night

To return what he has stole

 As time had chipped away the pieces

And bitterness claimed our soul

To be awaken by a spark

That now ignited a flame

A heartbeat silence by a cloud

Now beats as rapid rain

Restored, the joy within

A reason to begin

Choosing to end it never

A journey that will last forever

What is the question

What did God say

Little did we know

That this would be our season

Our time forever more

As we approach God in submission

We waited to hear his voice

God would grant us victory, as we bowed in defeat

For our burdens have been placed, we laid them at his feet

God has delivered

He’s done just what he said

Our latter now greater

Our hearts he’s made whole

Our lives complete

 Love feeds our soul

Long we had waited

Enough by ourselves

God brought us together

It was all in his will

I could not have found you

I would have never known

But you were always there

Hiding in the dark

Like a ship passing in the night

Like a eagle soaring in flight

You landed in the depths of my heart

A smothering flame gave life with a spark

And all that it took was for us to look into each others eyes

To see what we were missing, remove the locks off our door

To restore us, to make us feel alive

And all the while we had the key

 all the while you belonged to me

All we had to do

was smile!
