Put It In Gods Hand....

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise.  Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do".

Ephesians 5:15-17 (NLT)

Its still the first month of a new year, not to late to plan your year out.  I know some of  you may have already reverted back to your 2016 habits.  That's ok, Rome wasn't built in a day.  So if its true that it takes twenty one days to change a habit or to form one, well its day 21 of this month. and if you didn't make it;  you can start all over again.

Its like when we fall short in our commitments to God, he gives us another chance.  Most of my friends who know me, know I am the biggest researcher of ways to shop, diet, and travel.  Funny thing I can always hit the shopping and traveling nail right on the head.  That diet thing, well at least I can always start over on Monday.

Truth is the finish line keeps moving when you always start from the beginning.  Look to see what you have already accomplished and pick up from there.  If you fall, pick yourself up, shake off the dust and get back on track. Did you start back smoking, drinking sodas, eating  fried  foods, consider it a bad weather day.  Let it blow over and start again tomorrow.  Consider this,  if you had eaten healthy for ten days and was off track two, you can still meet your goals by recalculating where you got off  the road and find your way back to it.  You can still reach your goals.

Wanted to read the entire Bible in a year, find yourself a reading plan that drops the reading assignment for the day in your email.  Find a accountability partner, join a reading club who share the same interest as you or a travel group that desires to go to the places you would love to go. Habakkuk 2:2 "Then the Lord answered me and said; Write the vision and make it plain on tablets......'.

How about participating in a "Vision Board Party", that way you can hang you board on a wall and see it as a reminder everyday.  Truth is if you can see progress you are more likely to achieve it. To change is a choice, you have to decide.  Saving money, losing weight, getting out of debt, going on vacation, write the goal and do daily whatever it takes to accomplish it.

Proverbs 16:3 (NLT) "Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed,"   If you put it in Gods hand........
